Bijou is a holiday retreat in Mittenwald, Bavaria, that offers guests a unique place to connect with nature and escape everyday life. The French name "Bijou" translates to "jewel," symbolizing the accommodation as something precious and distinctive. For this client project, I developed a new corporate design, including a logo in phonetic transcription whose brackets frame the word like a jewel. The dot of the phonetic script was replaced with a mountain peak and additional design elements were derived from contour lines of hiking maps. I designed a consistent Instagram presence and a visual identity that combines natural colors, clarity and authenticity.
